it takes less time for me to cycle to work than it does to take the bus.  and that’s with a broken spoke, a cracked rim, loose handle bars (i have a really nice bike…) a 15lb. backpack, and no breakfast.  notes to self:  1) eat breakfast, 2) the best way to torture yourself/get a good workout on a daily basis is live ridiculously far from where you work, and 3) get a new bike.
